What you'll be doing
- The candidate is responsible to mentor and supervise retail credit risk analysts, provide leadership direction and answer questions as needed. S/he will provide guidance and assist staff with most complex aspects of work as necessary. S/he is also responsible to resolve escalated issues and problems by conferring with senior management, staff in other internal departments, outside contacts and others as necessary. S/he will oversee retail credit acquisition and portfolio analysis in support of financial, regulatory and risk management requirements. S/he will have to perform a leadership role in managing the provision for credit losses (pcl).
What your background should be
- The candidate should have 10+ years of related experience. Significant experience required in credit risk management and modeling disciplines. Experience in change management related to the adoption of new business processes.
