What you'll be doing
- Develop unique programs and partnerships with local travel & leisure community. Elevate companies brand awareness in the travel & leisure space. Create effective business solutions to increase traffic to store(s). Create visitor packages with hotels, convention, incentive and group travelers. Negotiate a gift card component and unique added-value offers with business partners. Conduct familiarization tours with tour operators, agents, and key hotel partners, reviewing companies capabilities to create exciting and fashion-forward experiences for their clients. Negotiate proposals with key group event partners (tour operators, destination management companies, convention and meeting planners and local attractions). Work with international marketing planner to design key in-store collateral that addresses needs (i.e., language or special services) of specific travel corridors. Develop and maintain relationships with hotel concierge via personal visits. Implement and maintain tourism initiatives at store-level to ensure customer experiential excellence. Complete and maintain individual hotel profiles, including monthly visitors and sales results, collateral distribution, hotel contact information and projections. Coordinate in-store training, procedure alerts, program fact sheets and distribution of monthly calendar of events. Partner with visitors center staff, ensuring the highest level of customer service is consistently provided to all visitors. Ensure that staff is thoroughly briefed on international marketing programs, store policies and events, local attractions and promotions. compile and maintain procedure manual, defining standards for center appearance and staff behavior. Work with in-store international personal shopping specialists to facilitate specialized services to international customers inclusive of: shopping tours, language assistance, and group events. Conduct unique tourism experiences for customers: group events, tours, breakfast fashion shows. Educate store associate on tourism program and establish operational excellence. Produce and distribute concierge newsletter. Monitor inventory levels of department collateral.
What your background should be
- 5-7 Years of marketing experience. Energetic and collaborative; analytical; assertive; detail/process oriented; persuasive oral & written communication.
Required Schooling / Training
- College or university degree
