What you'll be doing

Coordinate with other teams and local vendors, to plan and implement company events efficiently and to achieve the goals of the event. Administer all production processes and monitor all projects from conceptualization to implementation and manage all production budgets for various events. Perform research to select appropriate venue for events and identify appropriate target audience for all processes. Build strong relationships with vendors and host sites. Train and educate staff on proper event procedures. Provide project support to the communications and community engagement team including graphic design, writing and editing. Driving is an essential function of this position.

What your background should be

Three to four years of related experience and/or training in communications. English proficiency sufficient for communication with supervisors, co-workers, clients and customers. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS PowerPoint design software; Google Chrome Internet software; MS Excel Spreadsheet software and MS Word Processing software, and Adobe suite software.
