What you'll be doing
- Responsibilities of the marketing representative is to develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs and market appropriate products and services; establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed; provide prompt, accurate and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification. The person will work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals. The marketing representative will use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options the firm offers to the customers.
What your background should be
- Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred. Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and listening is a must. Applicant should be enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams. The person should be people-oriented, self-motivated, proactive in problem solving. Ability to work in a team environment, ability to make presentations to potential customers, ability to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews, ability to effectively relate to a customer, knowledge of financial services products are expected. Property & casualty license (must be able to obtain). Life & health license (must be able to obtain).
