What you'll be doing

Work with the distribution organization on small to large business strategy project. Assure alignment of development effort and desired business goal and outcome. Provide technical level analysis, status and direction in collaboration with business analyst, project manager and technology or business leadership. Manage relationship and strategic direction with multiple department as well as making sure that day to day needs are addressed. Collaborate for alignment with other solution engineering manager on process and direction. Manage execution of project portfolio item aligned with the overall enterprise strategy and goal. Work closely with project management, product owner, business analyst, architect and technical resource. Innovate and challenge business or technical process and solution with compelling solution. Drive team to deliver business outcome and hold self and the team account to deliver result. Manage team through influence rather than absolute authority, applying business judgment to overcome challenge and conflict and present recommendation, dependency, issue and risk to executive stakeholder and project team member for transparency. Handle day to day operational question or issue from the business and technical team, providing permanent resolution to root cause analysis.

What your background should be

A minimum of 3+ years of experience in technology management within the financial services industry. 8+ years of experience in business application development. Solid knowledge of mutual fund, advisor, sales & asset transactions and CRM data. Strong technical background and experience with SQL, business intelligence, reporting packages, ETL and data warehouse in an Oracle environment. Excellent working knowledge of data models and design, data warehousing concepts and implementation. Experience with master data management (MDM) solutions. Understanding of core analytics used as related to advisor fund data. Excellent problem solving or analytical, solution design, facilitation and organizational skills. High energy, positive attitude and strong relationship building skills. Solid experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, SCM a plus.
