What you'll be doing

Assists in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects. Assists in the development of probable construction cost estimates for projects within the discipline. Attends client meetings. Assists in the analysis of data received by others to plan and design projects. Prepares design computations and applies engineering fundamentals. Performs design of portions of non-routine projects and minor routine projects under direction of project engineer or other responsible staff member. Layout duct and piping systems from GPM and CFM and calculations. Understands and utilizes engineering technical terminology. Assists in the preparation of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates and permits for projects.

What your background should be

6 years related work experience. Must have the ability to operate a computer and computer software related to the field of engineering, such as Revit, AutoCAD release 14, Microsoft, Windows, Word, Excel.

Required Schooling / Training

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Associate degree or bachelor degree highly desirable.
