What you'll be doing

In this position, you will provide patient care and excellent customer service in the ambulatory setting. Assist in the coordination of flow and provider schedules to effectively manage patient care. Facilitate the appointment check-in procedure. Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient patient flow. Provide high quality, cost-effective patient care in collaboration with clinicians and in conjunction with the patient/family. Collect specimens and perform point of care testing (POCT). Complete check out for patients and families. Facilitate patient flow as the scheduling master for the clinic.

What your background should be

Minimum 2 years of related experience preferred. Certification as a certified medical assistant (CMA), registered medical assistant (RMA) or emergency medical technician (EMT).

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or equivalent.
