What you'll be doing

Responsible for meeting the health need both physical and mental of the inmate assigned to his/her caseload. This caseload may be served remotely via telehealth service. Responsible for providing psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and program for patient suspected of having mental disorder. Incumbent is responsible for the development of the master treatment plan and or mental health component of the ambulatory treatment plan and subsequent review for patient under his/her care and is directly responsible for the continuity of psychiatric care given to the patients assigned to his/her caseload.

What your background should be

Must have had at least one year of supervised experience providing direct service in a clinical setting, i.e., a one year of internship or the first year of a residency program in an institution accredited for such training. Excellent verbal and written communication skill is required. Strong interpersonal skill is desired. Excellent customer service skills is desired.

Required Schooling / Training

Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy from a school in the United States or Canada approved by a recognized accrediting body in the year of the applicant graduation.
