What you'll be doing

Following established procedures in the cheese making process. Shoveling of cheese curd on the tables. Adding salt to the cheese on the tables. Perform and record the required tests on the product for pH, acidity and temperature. Operate equipment for the movement of the cheese curd from the tables to the customer. Clean and sanitize all equipment used in processing, the floors, and the walls in the finish room. Maintain production and cleaning chart records. Must follow all safety procedures. Must follow all good manufacturing practices. Must follow all quality assurance standards. Keep work area clean and neat at all times. Must know the proper lock--out, tag--out procedures.

What your background should be

Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) required. Basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Good attendance is required. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to write legibly to complete paperwork. Able to communicate with co-workers, team leaders. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and follow written procedures.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
