Mobile Application Developer

What you'll be doing: Develops mobile applications for both iPhone and Android devices. Writes coherent, organized code and is comfortable working on a complicated code-base with high levels of abstraction. Works with product management to help define functional specifications for mobile applications. Implements multi-device application features as part of an interactive agile development process. Building enterprise mobile web (HTML5, JS, CSS) and native iOS (Objective C), Android (Java) and Windows 8 (C#) mobile applications. Gaining technical knowledge of software, hardware and open source technology stacks. Helping evaluate emerging cross platform frameworks. Partnering with top notch designers to create award winning user experiences. Bridging the gap between elegant front end design and existing enterprise back end architectures. Being mentored by more experienced mobile developers and architects to foster your career path and growth. Mentoring others less experienced than you to foster their career path and growth.

What your background should be: Must have 2+ years of professional experience in a mobile application development environment. Must have experience working with XML, JSON, AJAX, Java script, and web services. Ought to have extensive knowledge of Java and Java script. Should have familiarity with Linux, Apache, and Oracle. Must have the ability to work closely and collaboratively with other strong, intelligent technologists; excellent teamwork skills. Ought to be flexible and capable of handling multiple tasks. Should have strong OOP and software design abilities.

Required Schooling / Training: Bachelor degree (computer science, engineering or MIS/IT major preferred).
