What you'll be doing

The modality service engineer is responsible for troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and service repair needs on designated equipment. Maintain daily communication with client service engineer, where applicable, and customers directly to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction. Share knowledge and coach other members of company service team on an on-going basis. Support the business to achieve product serviceability and reliability, quality trend analysis, productivity program input and execution, national modality program implementation and new product introduction. Drive the businesses material and purchased service cost improvement initiatives for assigned modality. Lead installation activities within assigned area, ensuring safety and quality measures taken. Perform other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

In lieu of education candidate should have 2 to 6+ years of experience servicing electronic equipment. Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution based service process. Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, or electronic equipment. Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns. Experience with web applications as well as Microsoft suite of products.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma/GED required. Associate/bachelor degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, or equivalent military education preferred.
