Mover/Driver-Crew Leader

What you'll be doing: Manage a moving crew of 2-3 movers to ensure safe and efficient packing, loading and unloading of goods, materials and equipment. Inspect the moving truck for defects before and after trips, maintain driver logs and operate the truck safely and in accordance with all traffic and parking regulations. Be responsible for the transport of household goods, furniture and commercial equipment from pick-up through delivery. Problem solve on-site to successfully overcome most customer concerns. Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

What your background should be: Customer service or sales experience is preferred. Previous knowledge and experience with the following is preferable but not necessary. Proper packing and handling techniques. How to load a truck safely and professionally. How to use professional moving supplies such as plastic wrap, blanket pads, rubber bands and carpet shield. Have a minimum of 2 years moving experience as required. Have a valid driving license and a clean driving record, 26 or older for driver. Be able to work weekends, holidays and all weekdays.
