What you'll be doing

The Nuclear Process Engineer is responsible for implementation and regulatory compliance of the company nuclear safety and fire prevention programs. Promotes responsible empowerment and the core values: safety, integrity, accountability, teamwork excellence, and leadership. Creates and maintains up-to-date procedures, topical reports and data files. Establishes implements and provides technical guidance on policies and procedures. Monitor and assess technical, economic and schedule activities on all projects. Performs, analyzes and revises Process Hazard Analyses (PHA).Determines the requirements for and supervises special studies, when necessary. Organize and lead inter-disciplinary teams, as required. Provides technical guidance to the project through direct consultation, technical bulletins and other formats. Performs other position related duties as requested or assigned.

What your background should be

Minimum of 5 years nuclear experience. Position requires visual and auditory in normal range. Due to the nature of work, candidate must be a US citizen. Background in the performance of Unreviewed Safety Question Determinations (USQD) including Potentially Inadequate Safety Analysis (PISA) determinations. Experience with Documented Safety Analysis (DSA) and/or Integrated Safety Analysis (ISA) and the Technical Safety Requirement (TSR) development process.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline or the sciences from a four-year accredited college or university.
