What you'll be doing
- The client company is currently looking for a nurse assistant. This selected candidate is responsible to perform clerical duties on the nursing unit, transcribing physician orders, acting as a receptionist, receiving and directing communications, maintaining current records, assisting the health care team in other clerical duties, and patient care duties. The applicant will assist patients with personal hygiene, feeding, showering/bathing as appropriate, activities for daily living. The incumbent will take/monitor patient vital signs, bed making, and cleaning duties as appropriate. The function will perform the required judgment based on the application of knowledge and adherence to standards, policies, and procedures of the nursing services and medical center.
What your background should be
- Qualified candidate with holding a state tested nurse assistant (stna) certificate is preferred. The incumbent should have prior nurse assistant, unit assistant, medical assistant, or medical clerical work experience preferred.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school graduate or GED required.
