What you'll be doing
- Managing the day to day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents healthcare needs are met. Ensuring residents are treated with respect and dignity and ensuring quality care as residents healthcare needs change. Providing direct supervision of resident care staff and conducting associate performance evaluations and coaching or counseling associates. Monitoring staff in administration of medication. Observing residents health statuses, taking actions to address concerns and reporting all significant changes. Performing all other duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- Three or more years of nursing experience, including some supervisory experience. Current registered nurse in the state of VA. Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi task. Basic knowledge of computers, computer software and typing. Flexibility with schedule, including availability to work weekends and evenings. Must enjoy working with the senior population.
