What you'll be doing
- Provide highly specialized breast care to the high risk patient, those with new breast concerns, the new breast cancer patient, the breast cancer survivor patient, and the families of all the above mentioned patients. Evaluate content of clinic operations to make revisions to existing protocols, nursing and clinic practices and procedures, and develop new methods and approaches that will improve patient care, access to care, and the efficiency and effectiveness of the clinic operations. Provide assessments to meet the needs of the patient, gain knowledge relevant to the patient age and concern, provide timely care, another avenue for access to care in regards to breast concerns and identify the range of treatment needed by the patient.
What your background should be
- At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level. Must be an US citizen. Must be registered for selective service, see legal and regulatory guidance. Selectee required to successfully completing a probationary period. This position is a drug-testing designated position (TDP). Must obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
