What you'll be doing
- Candidate has to provide all medical services within reasonable and expected medical standards and in conformance with all requirements that may imposed from time to time by the applicable health licensing boards. Maintain timely and legible medical records for all patients evaluated and treated by ARNP. Distinguish between physiologically and psychologically based disorders and diagnose appropriately. Assess patient mental and physical status based on the presenting symptoms and complaints. Conduct individual, group, or family psychotherapy for those with chronic or acute mental disorders. Monitor patient medication usage and results. Evaluate patient behavior to formulate diagnoses or assess treatments. Educate patients and family members about mental health and medical conditions, preventive health measures, medications, or treatment plans. Document patient medical and psychological histories, physical assessment results, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, or outcomes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, psychologists, or nursing staff, to develop, implement, or evaluate treatment plans.
What your background should be
- License in Florida (ARNP), active and in good standing. Minimum four (4) years working in a behavioral health/psychiatric setting.
Required Schooling / Training
- Minimum master's degree
