What you'll be doing
- Provide a variety of patient care activities and accommodative services to the adolescent, young adult, middle adult, and older adult patients admitted for medical/surgical/ problems. Support the medical care of patients under the direction of the medical staff and a registered nurse or licensed vocational nurse pursuant to the mission and objectives of the hospital. Communicate with physicians, co-workers, volunteers, other hospital departments, and patient family members according to the standards of behavior.
What your background should be
- Completion of nurse aid program. Certification with the state of Texas preferred. Current BCLS course completion (American heart association health care provider required).
