What you'll be doing
- Visit and treat 5-7 patients per day, in their homes, traveling throughout Brunswick County into the Columbus/Bladen area. Participate in professional responsibilities such as program development, student programs, and performance improvement programs. Assess, interpret, plan, implement and evaluate patients according to the patients age and diagnosis. Effectively and efficiently manage the care of a caseload of patients and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team. Must be able to assess a patients condition, formulate a plan of care, select appropriate interventions, evaluate patients response to care/treatment, and to explain/teach patients about their condition and recovery. Must be able to prioritize duties, learn new skills and techniques in patient care.
What your background should be
- Must have 1 year recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist. Must be licensed to practice in the state of NC.Home health experience preferred. Must have advanced knowledge and comfort using computers and smart phones, have reliable transportation as well as exceptional time management skills.
Required Schooling / Training
- Must be a graduate of an Occupational Therapy program from an accredited university.
