Evaluate patient/families, plan and implement individualized treatment programs as appropriate to the age of the patient. Perform associated indirect responsibilities. Implement and adjust individualized goals based upon patient progress or change by his/her good clinical judgment and ability. Perform functions under the immediate supervision of the therapy manager. Complete assessment in appropriate time frame according to written departmental standards. Adapt evaluation techniques depending on individual patient needs. Anticipate and plan in advance for patient/family discharge needs considering the physical, cognitive, environmental, socioeconomic and safety needs of the patients. Provide rehabilitation cares that encompass a holistic and interdisciplinary approach for the patient and family. Communicate and delegate appropriately to clinical support staff to ensure safety of the patient following licensing regulations. Independently develop and select treatment techniques appropriate for the patient and demonstrate the ability to modify or terminate treatment based on the response of the patient. Review medical records obtaining timely orders and contact the appropriate party as needed concerning questions, clarification or possible conflicts in orders.
What your background should be
Applicant requires having either a, state license or eligible. Experience of working in the related field would be a plus.
Required Schooling / Training
Graduate of an accredited school of therapy (master degree).
