What you'll be doing
- Helps with human resources, including maintaining employee applications, obtaining background checks, ensuring employee files are up-to-date, and managing paperwork for employee terminations. Performs administrative duties, such as maintaining files/data/job jackets, processing payroll, processing incoming/outgoing mail, maintaining a professional office workspace, ordering supplies for the office and others (as required), managing the facilities, answering phones and coordinating messages and tasks, preparing weekly reports/documentation as requested, and organizing company functions, diligent customer follow-up & follow-through. Manages priorities and ensures diligent follow-up and follow-through for all assignments/tasks. Participates in personal development through training/education and attendance at meetings and conferences as needed. Performs other duties as assigned, such as priority management, problem solving, monitoring of production staff, scheduling. Coordinates the rainy day plan (RDP) to ensure optimal productivity of crews. Ensures that customer needs/expectations are reviewed. Establishes a tentative finish date for the job. Maintains positive relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other employees. Develops and maintains client relationships through frequent phone calls and visits.
What your background should be
- Strong verbal/written skills, to include proof-reading and basic math skills. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong computer and internet skills. Experience with quickbooks preferred. Previous experience in sales, marketing, accounting, HR, and/or in an administrative position a plus. Outstanding phone skills. Quality conscious and detail oriented. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. P&L experience. Good customer service skills. Exceptional phone skills. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
