What you'll be doing
- Operations Senior Financial Analyst will responsible for driving the culture through values and customer service standards. Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers. Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication. Candidate will also responsible for coordinating, conducting and documenting complex financial/operational analysis projects. Act as the lead analyst in taking these projects from inception to completion. Projects may include but are not limited to ROI analytics on various operational investments and capital projects. Duties will also include developing predictive models to assist management in planning future spending. Responsible for coordinating and issuing the monthly Performance Scorecard and Leader Board which is a reporting of the key performance metrics that drive profitability for the company. Act as principal analyst to the Senior VP of Operations providing cost center support, financial guidance, and general analytical support to the Operations functional area. Assist in the preparation and analysis of the annual budget, division forecasts, including Business Plan, quarterly forecasts. Analyze all aspects of company financial performance. Performs review of monthly results and produces an analysis with commentary of assigned Business Unit and Cost Center Area. The results of commentary are included in the monthly Financial Highlights Report. Support the preparation of the operations review presentation. Collaborate with other departments and Business Unit financial centers to obtain the necessary data for completion. Prepares exhibits for use by Division management. Develops and implements new techniques for financial analysis. Utilize professional concepts and company policies and procedures to resolve a wide range of difficult problems with resourceful and practical approaches. Other duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- This position required 5 to 7 years of experience in financial analysis and budgeting in a multi-location environment or experience in senior accounting and analysis roles or 3 to 5 years of experience as above with an MBA. Strong understanding of general accounting principles is necessary. Advanced proficiency with Excel is mandatory. SAP Business Explorer experience is extremely helpful. Visual Basic for Applications programming / Excel macro writing a plus, but not required. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills verbal and written. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance. MBA or other advanced degree desirable but not required.
