Outside Sales Sr Business Analyst

What you'll be doing: This position is responsible for driving the development and continued growth of company in-home selling channel to achieve established sales and margin targets. This position collaborates with key stakeholders in outside sales, services, merchandising, marketing, event planning and operations to analyze, consolidate, communicate and serve as liaison across the enterprise. S/he is responsible for determining relevant retail, specialty, and outside sales performance data and communicate to key stakeholders using multiple channels or types of media. S/he will deliver in-depth sales market analysis identifying impact areas for improvement &/or trends requiring further management attention of the vp, directors and selling managers of outside sales. S/he will identify key metrics, performance benchmarks, and engagement indicators that highlight strong and underperforming sales performance. This may include statistical analysis of sales trends over time, staff time in position relative to expected performance, training gaps, close rates, leads, percentage of assigned business customers making plan, tracking program profitability across multiple geography and merchant category criteria. S/he will support ongoing and annual budgeting and expense management for the outside sales department as directed by the vp and directors of outside sales.

What your background should be: The candidate will have 2-3 years of retail, specialty sales, merchandising, finance, or store operations experience. This position also requires 2 years of project management experience, marketing and/or business development experience, developing business strategies and presentations experience and experience working with the in home sales industry.
