What you'll be doing

Prepares job site, moves furniture, covers floors. Sets up ladder and stage scaffolding. Prepares surfaces to be painted, sands, spackles and tapes plasters. Cleans walls to ensure proper adherence. Covers surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection. Mixes and matches colors. Applies paints, stains and polyurethanes to surfaces using brush, roller and airless spray. Cleans tools and job site. Takes all necessary precautions to ensure that all patient safety goals are met to ensure a safe environment of patients, visitors and staff. Performs all other duties as assigned by management.

What your background should be

Five years of full-time, satisfactory experience as a painter acquired within the last fifteen years. At least three years of experience as described in (1) and sufficient, full-time, satisfactory. Apprentice painter experience to make up a total of five years of acceptable experience. Six months of acceptable experience will be credited for each year of apprentice painter experience.
