What you'll be doing
- The patient access supervisor will supervise the daily operations of patient registration/admission, scheduling, financial counseling, and insurance verification. Duties include, but are not limited to ensuring that the overall department goals relating to accuracy, productivity, denials, and customer satisfaction achieved. The employee will work with the manager to develop, implement, and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance/streamline current processes and procedures. Supervise training of all new employees; new systems and processes; and all direct and indirect staff engaged in daily patient access functions. Performs other related duties assigned.
What your background should be
- Minimum 2-5 years of health care supervisory experience. Must possess Microsoft office skills and have solid experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
