What you'll be doing
- The Patient Care Associate performs age appropriate, technically accurate electrocardiograms as well as obtains blood specimens required to do the lab tests. The incumbent will be required to provide assistance for the nursing staff with the assignments. Besides, the Patient Care Associate performs or assists with the transports of patients to all hospital departments.
What your background should be
- Qualified candidate for the Patient Care Associate position must have the following skills: - Florida LPN license with Phlebotomy certifications. - Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license plus Medical Assistant certification. - Patient Care Techinician Certificate ( EKG and Phlebotomy training). - Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license + Phlebotomy and EKG certifications
