What you'll be doing
- The incumbent provide transport service to patient of all age to and from all referral point within the hospital. The patient escort appropriately transport medication and lab specimen as directed to and from various location throughout the hospital. The patient escort is responsible for creating and maintaining a positive impression of premier health by proactively approaching, greeting and acknowledging all customer in a friendly, professional manner and providing quick and responsive customer service. The incumbent comply with established policy, procedure and standard regarding quality, customer satisfaction, positive work environment and financial stewardship. Perform all other duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- One year of experience in medical or patient care environment strongly preferred. Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skill. Exemplary customer and employee relation. Knowledge of the various department served. Proficient in the use of electronic medical record system and person computer. Highly motivated in teamwork, quality, and productivity.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school graduate or GED required
