What you'll be doing
- Payment Posting Representative will take responsibility for accurate and timely completion of routine payment process for physician practice and medical centre encounters as well as non-patient revenue including cash payment reconciliation, cash balancing, payment review, payment posting, daily bank deposits preparation and contracting adjustment posting.
What your background should be
- The most essential competences and skills: - From one year of previous experience in health care industry or any other business office setting. - Efficiency on a suite of MS Office apps. - CCAT or CPAT desired. - Medical Terminology knowledge is a must. - Exceptional communication skills including written, verbal and telephone. - Basic medical billing / cashiering knowledge. - Ability to handle tasks in a complex environment. - Awareness of basic principles of accounting and understanding of revenue cycle work flows. - High School Diploma or general education diploma. - Customer care skills. - Stunning analytical skills including basic Math and problem solving skills.
