What you'll be doing
- The position responsible for input data from time sheet, production record or individual time card, into computerize payroll system. Also responsible for balance payroll run, produce federal, state and local tax payment as well as answer employee question and troubleshoot issue. Maintain payroll information by collect, calculate and enter data. Update payroll record by enter change in exemption, insurance coverage, save deduction and department/division transfer. Prepare report by compile summary of earn, tax, deduction, leave, disability and nontaxable wage. Maintain payroll operation by follow policy and procedure.
What your background should be
- 3 years of experience in payroll or in a related area. Experience with payroll for a large organization preferred. Knowledge of basic payroll concepts, practices and procedures. Knowledge of and experience with payroll software and systems such as ADP, Intuit, Workday, PeopleSoft, Thunder Payroll, Kronos, AS400, or JDEdwards. Attention to detail. High degree of professionalism.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma required.
