What you'll be doing
- Serves as the procurement technician in the network contracting activity (NCA). Performs a full range of administrative functions in support of the NCA within the NCA along with support to its customer base with continuing responsibilities for ensuring that the daily operational functions are carried out as efficiently and effectively as possible. Provides technical support and assistance to contracting personnel. Works within established policies and procedures to complete a wide variety of administrative tasks (e.g., constructing new contract files, reconstructing incomplete contract files, reviewing contract files for completeness against established indexes and checklists, etc.). Maintains the electronic files in the electronic contract management system (e-CMS). Gathers and organizes contract information as requested by the procurement staff (e.g., documentation required to respond to protests, claims, inquiries, freedom of information act requests, etc.).
What your background should be
- Previous related job experience. Minimum 18 years or older. Required Texas pharmacy board license.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree
