What you'll be doing
- Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager, the Pharmacy Technician is expected for supporting the pharmacists in receiving, processing, and dispensing physicians orders. This individual will assist the mission of Community Care in providing high quality care to the frail and elderly in a managed care environment. It is the duty of the Pharmacy Technician organize medications for pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions; preparing labels; calculating quantities; assembling intravenous solutions and other pharmaceutical therapies. The person will generate revenues by calculating, recording, and issuing charges.
What your background should be
- 2 years of pharmacy technician experience
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma
