What you'll be doing
- Under immediate supervision of pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will execute variety of technical and clerical functions. The Pharmacy Technician will fill, package, and provide medication. It is the function of the Pharmacy Technician to restock to fixed levels and compounds or repackages following established policies, practices, procedures, or specific instructions and within federal and state statutes and regulations. The person will execute cashiering duties such as collection of cash, check, or credit card payments for all collectible services. Furthermore, the Pharmacy Technician will match prescriptions with labels; select proper drug and quantity to be dispensed, fill container, applies labels, and present completed product to pharmacist for checking.
