What you'll be doing

Perform electronic transaction using a cash register in processing payment for store product, including those for the pharmacy and wellness service. Exercise discretion and confidentiality with all patient information. Follow proper pharmacy and general safety and security procedure and process. Promptly report to the pharmacist all pharmacy complaint and inquiry concerning prescription or prescription medication. Notify the pharmacist when agents from any regulatory agency or law officer contact or visit the pharmacy. Provide excellent customer service as currently defined by the employer within the scope of the position and within company policy. Maintain cleanliness of the pharmacy area of the store, including restroom, throughout the day. Clean equipment and container according to prescribed method.

What your background should be

Demonstrate prior customer service skill or experience and an ability to interact cohesively with colleague in a team environment. Ability to preserve confidentiality of patient information. Flexibility to work weekend, night, and holiday, as required. Accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to understand and follow instruction. Pharmacy experience or training preferred. Ability to learn and accurately operate pharmacy computer system, cash register, and other equipment.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma.
