What you'll be doing

Performs collections within various time constraints according to ordering priority. Insures correct amounts of specimen is drawn into the proper collection containers while respecting the maximum amount of blood that can be collected for the size of the patient. Transports specimens to the laboratory. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Adherence to and compliance with information systems security is everyone responsibility. It is the responsibility of every computer user to Know and follow information systems security policies and procedures. Attend information systems security training, when offered. Reports information systems security problems. Performs other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

The candidate should have 1 year of phlebotomy experience. Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to travel by car to patient homes. Must be highly dependable and flexible. Must have reliable transportation.

Required Schooling / Training

High school or GED.
