What you'll be doing

Responsible for supporting and coordinating the hospital performance improvement program as defined by the performance improvement plan. Assists and supports the director of performance improvement, administration and the medical staff in fulfilling performance improvement related responsibilities and reporting requirements. Responsible for evaluation, updating and assuring hospital adherence to established and newly implemented policies and procedures from recognized regulatory agencies. Works closely with the organized medical staff to fulfill their responsibilities of maintaining the quality of patient outcomes.

What your background should be

A minimum of two years of clinical experience is required with a preference for medical/surgical or critical care focus. Knowledge of licensing regulations and joint commission standards preferred. Organization, communication and computer and data processing skills necessary. Two years of performance improvement experience preferred.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree or equivalent
