What you'll be doing

Support the account managers by developing a firm understanding of their customer's technical dilemmas and providing a sound technical solution. Quickly identify whether or not company's product line will be able to solve the issues being presented by the customer. Provide live presentations of the product interface to both end users and company partners. Help create RFP and RFI responses. Participate in monthly partner training presentations. Travel with field account managers to on-site sales negotiations, partner trainings, and trade shows.

What your background should be

Minimum 3+ years in a technical pre-sales role, preferably in the networking and/or servers industry. Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of network and server technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to deliver in-depth technical knowledge in person and virtually. Familiarity with products and technologies in the Microsoft UC space. Travel is required (determined by location and business development needs). In-depth understanding of Internet related protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP, FTP, etc.), preferred. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Lync, and/or Microsoft SharePoint highly preferable. Experience creating network diagrams (Microsoft Visio).
