What you'll be doing

The pricing analyst leads the preparation and analysis of product line profitability details and is responsible for maintaining the product line details for planning. The pricing analyst coordinates with the sales department to maintain cost compliance, updates and pricing contracts. The pricing analyst assists in the annual budget including sales forecasts and margin details. The pricing analyst provides reports to the category manager to use in analysis of product line financial results. The pricing analyst updates, monitors, validates, and reports on pricing rules and system data check on a daily basis. Creates and maintains the core databases used for reporting and analysis of product line profitability provides routine and ad-hoc reports as requested. Provides analysis and insights to pricing trends, issues, and opportunities by working with product management, sales.

What your background should be

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial planning or IT analysis role. Demonstrated knowledge of financial planning and analysis principles. Capability to work accurately, with interruptions, to meet deadlines. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access or other database programs, is required. Considerable knowledge of SQL and crystal reporting is a must, Qlikview a plus. Ability to work well independently; outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work with associates at every level of the organization. Ability to set priorities in a complex environment.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or accounting.
