What you'll be doing
- The candidate will contribute to risk profiling & continuous audit assessment in line with the overall group audit methodology. The candidate will be a team member, or may lead the team, and will be required to implement dynamic planning through continuous monitoring of the business and successfully implement risk based audits both locally and globally. He/she will undertake audit assignments, draft audit reports for review by audit management and facilitate issue tracking and validate closure of issues. The candidate will be required to complete all work assigned to him/her timely. This may also include ad hoc projects and special investigations. The candidate will be expected to develop relationships across the business franchise and to communicate orally and in writing the results of his/her work to clients at all levels. The candidate will be required to proactively develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, the business, and respective support areas. He/she will work in an integrated manner with fellow team members both locally (e.g. IT infrastructure, risk & finance) and globally. He/she will provide subject matter expertise for front-to-back audits, driving risk-based dynamic planning and supporting delivery of the global audit plan.
What your background should be
- The candidate will have investment banking experience and a well established knowledge of sales and trading, capital markets and related infrastructure support functions. Detailed understanding of practical and theoretical aspects of IT operations and management, best supported by formal certifications (e.g., CPA, CISA, etc.) or practical experience as an IT operations manager. The candidate should have a clear understanding of differences between independent oversight, supervision and execution responsibilities and have a proven track record of building effective relationships, including at senior management level. Excellent command of English is required, further language skills are generally useful.
Required Schooling / Training
- CISA/CPA or IIA qualification, bachelor degree in IT or similar.
