What you'll be doing
- Responsible for creating the technical approach of projects throughout all phases of the software development life cycle. Work with and mentor engineers on best practices, be a leader to more junior engineers and inspire them to work collaboratively. Develop industry and product technical expertise. Find and help fix stability/scalability issues in a very time critical environment. Support site rollouts and be available to resolve site issues. Ability to translate requirements into a technical approach. Accurately estimate engineering effort, participate in defect meetings and participate in implementations. Identify technical risks and effectively know when to raise them and when to handle them.
What your background should be
Required Schooling / Training
- BS or MS degree in computer science, math, or related field.
