What you'll be doing
- Respond to incoming calls and letters, from the account holders, the account executives, the broker dealer firms and operations personnel and senior managers. Coordinate with other ops groups, legal, compliance and the affected businesses to design bulk mailings and improve existing letters. Compose properly worded responses to complaints which will be reported to company primary regulator. Maintain document history and approvals for every letter type generated through the company. Perform quality control on letter files executed the company operations, IT, GBDS, and external vendor, broad ridge, to ensure data integrity remains intact for all client-facing notifications. Perform daily monitoring of production jobs, perform daily health check and reconcile broad ridge letter print files with Ohio print center to ensure SLA is met. Generate daily and monthly reports. Resolve any anomalies. Provide weekly metrics and scorecards for client services and POD when the manager is not available to do so. Perform daily review of LTTR application by reviewing variable content and verifying changes from chart of accounts. Perform review of vendor invoices to confirm all charges billed to the POD department are accurate. Responsible for manual transmission of test data files between technology and vendor broad ridge. What your background should be
- Knowledge and understanding of operations, e.g. cashiers functions money and securities, stock records, dividend and interest, knowledge of types of accounts and securities. Background in banking or brokerage operations. Excellent writing and communication skills. Must be able to compose a clear and succinct response to a multitude of operational inquiries and complaints. Advanced excel. Must be able to create and understand formulas such as vlookups and macros. Knowledge of UAT and QA testing process. Ability to analyze process and procedures leading to recommendations on controls improvements. Excellent project skills with the ability to handle diversified assignments.
