What you'll be doing
- The process equipment operator is responsible for the set up and operation of various systems and equipment used for the application of identification markings on aircraft parts, assemblies, and fluid lines. These methods include computerized thermal transfer labeling systems, automated ink jet systems, electro-etching, paper tagging, and the use of hand stamps when required. Use production orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, T.F.I.S., and process specifications to determine the correct method of identification and marking locations, content and usage specifications (i.e., hydraulic, coolant, fuel, air condition, and lubrication, water, and drain lines), flow direction, and specified torque values for tube fittings.
What your background should be
- Minimum 2 years of related experience. Extensive knowledge of operations, control, and functions of equipment and machinery.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma or equivalent.
