Product Tester

What you'll be doing: Reporting to the QA manager, responsibilities include: executing test plans and test cases as provided by manager and test leads. Providing feedback to the development team and product owners through the phases of projects under test. Posting bugs and issues in the appropriate databases and managing the regression and verification of each issue assigned to the tester. Preparing reports on specific areas of functionality. Supporting bug reviews and code releases and reviewing user documentation. Performing all other duties as assigned by management.

What your background should be: Knowledge of client companies products and their primary applications, including performance and recording. Musical training and experience with electric and acoustic guitar, electric bass and effects processors as well as tube and solid-state amplification systems for guitar and bass. Experience with digital audio workstations (recording, editing & mixing) and RTAS, VST and AU plug-ins. Must have good communication skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and be flexible and cooperative with other functional groups and their members across the company. Experience configuring and using Windows, OS X, iOS and Android operating systems and Office Suite apps; digital audio recording and editing experience. Ability to prepare timely and complete reports and assessment documents. Knowledge of internet connection protocols and web browsers. Experience with PC and Apple hardware and knowledge of configuring systems including hard drives, USB and Bluetooth peripherals.
