What you'll be doing

This very hands-on position will be accountable for producing consistent-high quality products such as bread, bagel, and roll doughs on a daily basis with a great team of associates. Ordering inventory and maintaining appropriate levels. Managing the production and sanitation teams. Ensure the teams are producing safe food products they are proud to take home to their family. Guarantee strict process controls are followed. Guide and protect associates in safe work practices and behavior. Provide assistance, mentoring and coaching to associates so they may learn, feel valued and grow. Support the local cafes so you may meet the needs of company customers and more.

What your background should be

Experience working in a bakery or food. Manufacturing environment is a must. 3-5 years management experience in a hands on, bakery/food manufacturing environment. Good organization and time management skills. A good understanding of working within a budget and meeting those goals. Experience developing and coaching associates by creating a collaborative work environment. Proficient in training associates in safety, GMPs and use of bakery equipment. Accustomed to working in a Microsoft environment-and fairly competent in Excel. Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
