What you'll be doing

The hiring company is currently looking for a production operator. This position is responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies, and cooler service equipment. The candidate will set up machinery ensuring all production materials are available. Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed. The incumbent will visually inspect production run and document results. S/he will determine and report malfunctions to appropriate parties. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned area. The applicant will ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures. The applicant is responsible to standing for extended periods, walking, lifting, climbing, crouching, bending, reaching, and stooping.

What your background should be

A qualified candidate should have 1 to 3 years of general work experience. Prior production/manufacturing machine operation experience preferred. S/he should have previous experience within high-speed industrial environment. Incumbent should have the ability to operate manufacturing equipment and knowledge of industrial technology a plus.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or GED preferred.
