What you'll be doing

Process merchandise to and from stores and vendors. Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of self and others. The company also requires that all associates perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. Essential job functions: model 'customer' 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service. Distribute merchandise to stores via the jewelry system. Tag jewelry merchandise. Process merchandise returns from stores to vendors. Prepare/receive merchandise shipments. Process receivables; verify item, quantity, and cost of receivables against purchase orders and invoices. Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

What your background should be

Minimum 18 years of age. Ability to pass a drug test. Ability to work weekends on an occasional basis. Accuracy/attention to detail. Ability to organize/prioritize variety of tasks/projects. Valid driving license. Knowledge of the company policies, procedures, and organizational structure. Jewelry sales, receiving, and/or accounting experience 40 WPM typing. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. Ability to operate the following special equipment, machinery, and/or special tools: tagging machine. Proficient with jewelry system software.

Required Schooling / Training

HS diploma/GED plus two-three years jewelry experience; or combination of relevant education and experience.
