What you'll be doing

The Production Supervisor oversees the daily activities of the department in order to safely and cost-effectively meet plant production & quality objectives. This requires both a focus on people leadership as well as full utilization of information, established reliable procedures and methods that impact the materials, machines and people in the work area. Continuous improvement in safety, housekeeping, waste reduction, quality, productivity, customer satisfaction and cost. Active involvements in hiring new employees, as well as development of employees through training, coaching and regular performance evaluations and feedback (i.e. Lead by example) .Facilitate team meetings. This position will report to the Production Manager.

What your background should be

Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge and experience in manufacturing environment . Able to demonstrate strong financial acumen. Proven track record of consistently demonstrating leadership. Experience using reliable methods and processes related to manufacturing. Experience with planning, quality maintenance, project management with strong mechanical aptitude. Maintain flexibility to work any shift in a 24/7 operation.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree or High School diploma or (GED)
