Production/Bindery Assistant

What you'll be doing: Operate plotter/cutter to produce vinyl for signage and display graphics. Operate digital production equipment such as wide format and flatbed printers. Cutting, weeding and mounting of cut vinyl on substrates. Operate production equipment in a safe, efficient and appropriate manner. Installation of completed jobs at customer location as needed. Regularly review work to ensure quality standards are met. Coordinate with center manager/production manager for daily jobs. Review customers orders and due dates. Read and follow job ticket instructions and requirements. Maintain an inventory of supplies. Inform production manager when supplies are needed. Assist with deliveries and pickups as needed. May assist with print production, bindery and finishing. Operation of print finishing equipment such as envelope printing, cutting, creasing, folding, UV coating, coil binding.

What your background should be: Knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Office and Adobe creative Cloud preferred. Follow policies and procedures; complete administrative tasks correctly and on time; support organizations goals and values. Prioritize and plan work activities; use time efficiently; set goals and objectives. Observe safety and security procedures; use equipment and materials properly.
