What you'll be doing

Plan, design, evaluate, and implement all aspect of park and recreation activities, day camp, and other family programs of the branch, in accordance with company of the located place. Build positive working relationships with city officials, staff, and community groups to assess and meet the needs of the community and company strategic plans. Collaborate and offer programs and activities under the direction of the deputy city manager and the NDC & community executive director. Promote programs by development and distribution of marketing materials that comply with branding and the city of Trotwood guidelines. Act as community liaison by attend city council meetings, park and recreation board meetings, and other appropriate collaborative meetings to facilitate community involvements. Develop a special partnership with corporate sponsors for the city of Trotwood. Plan and implement special events; hire, train, monitor, and evaluate appropriate staff; fill staff vacancies in accordance with company association guidelines. Know and administer the appropriate EAP (emergency action plan) for any situation, including first aid or CPR, work-related employee injuries, etc. Complete incident and accident report as required. Perform other job duties and tasks as assigned.

What your background should be

One year of minimum of supervisory experience demonstrating the ability to recruit, train, motivate and supervise staff required. Budget development and administration skills preferred. Must hold a valid driving license. Computer skills needed, particularly with Microsoft Office and email applications, along with ability to learn the internal company software.

Required Schooling / Training

Two years college degree or applicable experience is required; bachelor degree in related field or equivalent strongly preferred.
