What you'll be doing

Ensure positive engagement across teams for all phases of project, from kick-off to close-out create, socialize and obtain project charter approvals. Develop and proactively manage large project and program milestone schedules. Deeply understand and deliver summary reporting against project budget, commitments and targets. Engage with x-team and x-Microsoft stakeholders to ensure continued applicability of project goals. Coordinate scope and change management activities across teams Identify, track and manage program risks and issues across all stakeholder teams. Develop and execute against mitigation strategies. Communicate across teams to ensure consistency of message and clear understanding of decisions and changes. Create program level status reports and deliver presentations to senior management and executives. Identify program phase hand-off criteria and ensure smooth transition of deliverables between teams during all phases.

What your background should be

Minimum 5 years of experience in IT or construction project management. Ability to build positive relationships and develop support from a wide variety stakeholders from construction managers and IT engineers to finance, software architects and senior executives. Strong financial analysis skills. Business case development experience and strong executive and stakeholder communication/presentation skills. Strong ability to manage and lead scope change. Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills with a view towards program communications.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree in computer science, business management, electrical engineering, construction management or related field.
