What you'll be doing

Reports to the Director of F-35 international production. Provides program management and integration on all elements of F-35 international production activities relating to fabrication and assembly of critical path products by TAI in Turkey. Provides primary interface to the F-35 program in planning, organizing and directing the execution of center fuselage, major sub-assemblies, composite ducts and related components. Functions as the cost account manager applying a strong understanding of EVMS responsible for cost, schedule and quality performance ensure the on-time delivery of high quality, affordable products while balancing international production commitments and effective supplier and customer relationships. Leads the supplier and NGC functional organizations in maturing NGC and supplier manufacturing processes to ensure readiness for full rate production. Provides leadership and direction to the multifunctional US and Turkey based supplier management team to ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures and directives. Includes in those policies and procedures will be those directly related to compliance with U.S. export control laws. Ensures attainment of F-35 program strategic and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) goals. Ensures close integration with palmdale operations engineering requirements and configuration management in the implementation of changes.

What your background should be

At least 13 yeras of expericence. Must be able to effectively interface with the supplier, multiple functional organizations on a regular basis. Must be able to provide strong leadership and communication skills with management oversight on production IPT risks and issues that may impact cost, quality and/or schedule performance. Good working knowledge and experience with program management systems and production processes and strong ability to lead in an IPT environment is required. Ability to travel internationally. Must be able to attain DOD security clearance. 10+ years of IPT lexperience. A strong understanding of international program management and a minimum five years international defense business expertise.
